The Glee Project: A Competition for a Role on 'Glee'

Did you ever watch the hit FOX TV show Glee, and find yourself thinking, so I can do this? Well, now you might have a chance! If you are a "gleek," like us, and often dreamed of starring alongside members beautifully cast event

(ie Mark Salling, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron, Amber Riley), a new reality show will be launched on a channel that can deliver oxygen fair shot at fulfilling that dream!

Oxygen announced on Tuesday, November 16 that the launch of a national audition for guest spot on "Glee" FOX's, individuals who fall into the criteria and can meet the rule will be selected to compete for several weeks, the journey to find the ultimate winner will be arrested on "Project Glee".

Reality show is a multi-episode series to be broadcast on cable channel in June 2011 "Musical theater experience is a plus, but not required. If selected to participate, professionals will train you, so raw talent welcome. If you have the fundamentals to do and great personality, we'd like to meet" it was announced!.

Casting has actually done online through MySpace earlier this year, but the choice of the city will provide "Project Glee" with some footage. Open calls will be held on 18 and 19 in Chicago and January 8 and 9 in Dallas. Further details including the place will be announced soon on the official site. Glee and casting director Robert Ulrich has been working together to create Project Glee, a new TV reality show for Oxygen Media. This event will be competition where the winner will be awarded a multi-episode guest starring spot on season 3 Glee.

The competition is open to - Music Performers: male & female, 18 +, who convince teens can describe, with a strong vocal, acting and dancing abilities. Casting call also said that "musical theater experience is a plus, but not required." Meanwhile, the contestants have to examine the feasibility and the songs that they allow the audition. This list consists of various genres, including "Baby One More Time" Britney Spears, Toxins that "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" from "Dreamgirls". Auditions will be held December 18 to 19 in Chicago, IL, and also in Dallas, TX. on January 8 to 9.
